Our majesty King and Queen of Thailand are very interested in national cuisine.  It is their wish to make Thai food well known to people around the world.  Together they have co-authored a series of three books known as "Sumrup (cuisine), Sumran (enjoyment), and Sumroui (beauty)".

One of the books, Sumrup, is filled with knowledge about Thai food prepared specially for the King's palace.  This book is highly valuable in terms of history, national price, and identity.

It represents the distinct tasts, colors, decorations, presentation, marvel, and fanciness of Thai foods.  These qualities make Thai foods interesting to learn about and model after.

Lotus Thai Cuisine has been open for nearly 17 years. "Lotus" is name of delicate oriental flower that grows in bodies of water like lakes and canals.  It is a symbol of ancient Thailand.  This flower is believed to spark imagination and creativity.  Its image reflects the gentleness of Thai culture and Thai people.
