Although your taste buds may be used to distinguishing ba
sic tastes like sweet, sour, salty, and bitter, we invite you to try the warm taste of Thai chilli peppers. You may wish to experiment with different levels of spiciness. Other herbs and spicies commonly used in Thai cooking are lemon grass, galangal, ginger, kefir lime leaves, basil, garlic, and shallots.
The history of Thai cooking is inspired by our Majesties the King and the Queen of Thailand. They are interested in national cuisine; it is their wish to make Thai food well known to people around the world. They have coauthored a series of three books known as “Sumrup (cuisine), Sumran (Enjoyment), and Sumroui (Beauty).”
One of the books, Samrap, is filled with knowledge about Thai food from every region of Thailand, including food prepared specially for King’s palace. Food is of great importance in Thai history, national pride, and identity, represented by the distinct tastes, colors, decorations, preparation, marvel, and fanciness of Thai cuisine. These qualities make Thai cuisine interesting to learn about the model after. We hope you are inspired to try the variety of dishes. We offer in our menu and expand your horizon of sensory pleasure.
